Weekly Play

We play most Saturdays starting at noon at Lake Union Park. Everyone is welcome to play - we are happy to teach you the game. There's no need to bring anything but yourself - we have extra boules for new players to try out. See our meetup page for dates and locations.

Jouval 2024

We held the annual Jouval tournament on Sunday, August 18. Fourteen teams of doubles joined us on a beautiful sunny day in South Lake Union Park. Congratulations to La and Tu, winners of the concours, and to Pete and Tahia, winners of the consolante. Thanks to everyone who participated!

Jingle Boules Tournament 2023

Our first annual winter Jingle Boules tournament was held in Edmonds on Saturday, December 16.

We had a great group of players enjoying some great, December weather during SPC’s inaugural Jingle Boules Tournament held at Civic Park in Edmonds. Congratulations to Brad & Mark winners of the concours and to Doug & Jeri, winners of the consolante. Thanks to all players and to Maggie for taking these great photos.

Jouval 2023

Celebrating Success at the Jouval Pétanque Tournament 2023!

On Sunday, August 6, we joined with Petit Pierre Bakery and Alliance Francaise Seattle to host our annual Jouval Tournament, in memory of former Seattle Petanque Club member, Henri Jouval.

A big THANK YOU to all the wonderful participants who made this year's Pétanque Tournament at Magnolia Summerfest an unforgettable experience! We hope you had a blast and created lasting memories on the boules court! Let's give a big round of applause to Philippe and La, winners of the 2023 Jouval and to the second place finalists Lee and Di. 🥇🥈
